The girls learn the theories of programming using psuedocode before moving to specific coding languages.

Meets: Mondays 6:15-7:45pm during school year
Host Site: Pinecrest Branch Library
Club Members: Girls in 6-8 grade (commit to entire school year)
Instruction/Supervision: Club Advisor, 4 Instructors, 3 TAs, + host librarians
Curriculum: Focus on creativity; learn Scratch, Python, HTML & CSS; code electronics using littleBits Coding Kits; learn about women in CS; all girls get a chance to present and take on a club role
